Cert ID Ltd was formed in 1999 at the peak of food and feed industry concerns about GMOs and since then has grown from strength to strength with sister companies around the world.
In June 2006 Cert ID Ltd changed its name to Cert ID Europe Ltd to reflect its European sphere of operations
Cert ID Europe now provides food safety certification against the British Retail Consortium Global Standard Food Certification (BRC), ProTerra certification for environmentally sustainable, socially responsible food and feed production and Halal certification against the European Halal Development Agency Standard (EHDA)
